I had been toying with the idea of boudoir for a few years. I finally pushed play as a celebration of several life changes and to feel empowered that it only took me 40 years to love me and the body I have and all the things I had been through that made that body. I was certainly nervous but Diane helped me feel at ease and they made me feel supported and loved. The pictures turned out great and she did a wonderful job trying to capture a real me. Diane was stupendous and she did everything right. Despite me not being able to completely break through my own insecurities she made me at ease and caught some photos of those rare moments where I truly let myself be free.

q: I don’t know how to pose myself.
Are you sure I will look good in my photos?

A: Absolutely! I want you to be totally comfortable during your session. To make sure we have a positive experience, I do have a couple rules. Your friend must promise to be supportive and not demeaning in any way. She is also not to direct the shoot in any way, because you and I are the ones who have been planning together. If you are interested in splitting a shoot, I’m happy to chat about that as well.

Q: I am nervous AF. Can I bring a friend?

A: Whatever makes you feel beautiful! In our planning meeting, we’ll discuss the best silhouettes for your body and your personal style. I’ll also share my tips for how to not break the bank on lingerie, and other options you probably already have in your closet!

Q: what do i wear?

A: Just fill out the contact form here! Then we’ll set up a phone call where I answer all the rest of your questions and we pick a date! In the weeks leading up to the session, I’ll be sending you plenty of information to help you prepare. My clients LOVE how prepared they feel coming in (but don’t worry—they were still nervous just like you).

Q: HOW do i book my session?

We typically plan your shoot for a few weeks out. This gives you time to create your vision board, have a full idea about your shoot, and gather any outfits you’d like to shoot in. Once we shoot, we’ll schedule a viewing session two weeks out. While you’re waiting, you’ll receive some surprises and goodies from me! Then you’ll come in for your viewing session, pick your favorite images, and order your products. After you fully pay for your products, allow 2-4 weeks for printing. If you are in a rush, talk to me about same day viewing to speed it up!
